FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS

MANUFACTURING & SCALE

Can Simpsons Beverages support high-volume production at scale?

Yes. Our facilities are designed for consistent, high-volume beverage manufacturing. All products are bespoke and developed to meet the specifications of our customers, ensuring repeatable quality as volumes scale across multi-site, national, and international operations.

We manufacture beverage compounds for alcoholic, soft and functional / fortified drink categories together with coffee, milkshake, cocktail, slush and bubble tea syrups together with post mix syrups for draught dispense across multiple categories. Products are engineered for high volume commercial production, operational efficiency, and scalable supply.

EXPORT & GLOBAL SUPPLY

Do you supply beverages internationally?

Yes. We are an export-ready global beverage manufacturer supplying customers across multiple international markets. Our team manages export logistics, documentation, and regulatory alignment to ensure reliable, compliant delivery worldwide.

Absolutely. Formulations can be adapted to meet regional regulatory requirements while maintaining consistent flavour performance. Our technical teams support international labelling, compliance, and approvals to reduce risk and speed up global launches.

Product Development & Innovation

Can you develop bespoke flavours and formulations?

Yes. Our in-house Beverage Innovation Centre supports bespoke flavour development and formulation across compounds and syrups. We work collaboratively to translate flavour briefs into scalable, production-ready solutions.

Timelines vary by complexity, but our fast-track NPD process enables rapid prototyping, structured sampling, and efficient scale-up—reducing iterations, development risk, and time to market.

Compounds & Private Label

What is a beverage compound?

A beverage compound is an all-in-one concentrated formulation containing all the ingredients required to manufacture a flavoured drink, excluding water and, where applicable, alcohol. It combines flavourings, sweeteners, acids, colours and functional components into a single, pre-blended solution supplied to beverage manufacturers or co-packers.

At the point of production, the compound is diluted with water and, for alcoholic drinks, blended with the base spirit before filling into cans or bottles. This approach simplifies ingredient handling, reduces the number of suppliers and raw materials, and minimises formulation complexity on the production line. It also improves batch-to-batch consistency, reduces the risk of dosing errors, and enables faster, more efficient processing.

By consolidating multiple components into one specification, beverage compounds support reliable, repeatable performance at scale — helping manufacturers accelerate time to market, maintain product quality and optimise high-volume beverage production across multiple drink categories.

Private label beverage solutions give brands greater control over formulation, quality, pricing, and supply. They enable exclusive products, differentiation, faster innovation, improved margins, and long-term supply security

Quality, Compliance & Risk

How do you guarantee product quality and consistency?

Every product is manufactured under rigorous quality management systems with in-process controls, advanced testing, and full traceability. Our BRCGS AA and ISO-certified systems ensure consistent quality at scale.

We hold internationally recognised food safety and quality certifications, including BRCGS AA and ISO 9001, supporting safe, compliant beverage manufacturing for global markets.

Commercial & Partnership

What are your minimum order quantities (MOQs)?

MOQs depend on product type, formulation, and packaging format. We work with customers to establish commercially viable volumes supporting national and international distribution channels.
