Simpsons Beverages are leaders in the science, art and innovation of flavours for drinks brands and companies. We are always at the forefront of emerging drinks trends with the know-how and experience so our customers can take advantage of being first movers in their category.
The business was established in Blackpool, in 1934 by sole trader, William Herbert Simpson. The primary focus of the business was selling natural fruit squashes door-to-door. This grew into a large delivery network from Fleetwood, across the Fylde to Preston over the next 30 years. In the 1970s, the business sold its delivery business, in response to market conditions, and changed its focus to post mix drinks and slush syrups. In 1984 the business moved to its current home in Chiswick Grove, Blackpool.
We’ve come a long way since 1934 and today we are proud to be a global supplier of innovative drinks flavours for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks across sectors that include Distilleries, Breweries and Dairies.
Customers working with Simpsons get any flavour designed to their specific requirements. Our recently opened New Product Development (NPD) laboratory provides a unique experience for drinks brands/company who know they are working with an innovative, forward-thinking company who design drinks to their exacting standards.
In 2021 we were accredited as The Investors in People (IiP) Gold Award, which means we understand that it’s our people that make us who we are. We are proud to have some of the most experienced, knowledgeable, passionate and dedicated individuals within our industry, at every level in our business.
Now in our fourth generation and still proudly family owned and operated with a strong Christian ethos that reflects the personal beliefs of the Directors and owners. We have built a strong reputation within the industry for being innovative and are always at the forefront of emerging drinks trends.

At Simpsons we recognise that pricing instability in today’s climate puts pressure on our customers and their customers in turn. We realise that we aren’t in a position to change the world, but we can put in place strategies to mitigate further price volatility. We are working tirelessly to ensure a healthy stock of core ingredients to avoid fluctuating prices. continually reviewing our supplier base to ensure we purchase all ingredients for the best price and agreeing contract prices where possible.
